DISTRICT LUDHIANA RANKS 1ST AT NATIONAL LEVEL

Mission Swachh and Swasthh Campaign-

-IMPROVES 123 RANKS IN A MONTH

-KEEP MONITEERING ON WORKS BEING DONE FOR PUBLIC-DC

            Ludhiana - District Ludhiana has ranked 1st at national level ranking of Mission Swachh and Swasthh Campaign. The district Ludhiana has improved in this regard as it was on 123rd rank in ranking issued a month ago. This improvement is a good sign to implement this mission on groud level, said Deputy Commissioner Mr. Pradeep Kumar Agrawal while expressing satisfaction.
            Giving information, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Pardeep Kumar Agrawal and Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) Mrs. Surbhi Malik said that this mission was started by Government of India to make country Swachh and Swasthh by December 2019. To ensure the healthy competition of all districts of country under this mission, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation keeps surveillance on daily basis. Prime Minister Mr. Narinder Modi will felicitate those districts, who will give remarkable performance in this regard, on October 2nd.
            Expressing  satisfaction on the performance of district water supply and sanitation department, Mr. Agrawal and Mrs. Malik said that further instructions were issued to concerned officials to keep moniteering on works being done for public in district.  They sought regular reports in this regard. They also appealed to people of district to give cooperate to maintain this status.
